  This is an interesting topic. I will endev to catch up with it at some stage ... but until then, my thoughts of the LHC are similar to the opening of Red Dwarf when Holly (the Computer) says ...

  Christmas lights

  We have the token Santa in the window and some other star thing. Seriously though, there are some people about with lots of time, money and megawatts on there hands. Not begrudging though. I always look.

  It never rains ...

  ... yeah right. After years in drought we are getting smashed with wind and storm. Consistantly since Sunday. The damage is massive. Ruski73 is fine but the the suburb the in laws are in has been belted and they have had water through their house and trees down everywhere. Looks like a war zone. Would put up pics but it is too heart breaking.

  US Financial Crisis

  I agree with Sir M. I reckon there will be two, three or more economic crises before I retire. By that time I hope to have enough money to hire an excavator to dig my grave. I would prefer cremation but the global warming police will probably have shut down the furnaces by then.
