Best: Finally getting out of uni at 6pm, my long awaited coffee, discovering more places to go for lunch around uni
Worst: Getting up early, sitting next to a creepy guy on the train, jackhammers at uni doing construction blasting my ear drums as I walk pass
Yesterday: Best. Skiing like an absolute champ after lunch even if I could not keep up with Tamsin (11) so much so that she refused to ski with me.
Worst: Being pulled over by Sgt Paterson on the way home to Sydney and a later argument with a panel van driven by complete idiots.
sounds eventful..esp the part with the panel van driver ![]()
Yesterday. Best thing. Morning. Breakfast in a cafe overlooking the sea at Walton on the Naze (bacon, egg, sausage, black pudding, tomatoes, fried bread followed with toast and marmalade and a few cups of tea.
Worst thing. Afternoon: Re-working the various electric points in my garden (not so easy when it's been raining for weeks on end)
Black pudding Arthur. Hmmn. Not for everyone.
Sounds like a hangover cure breakfast Arthur
White Van Man... The curse of all the roads anywhere in the world. I must make a note to get a device that disinegrates them.
Black pudding. Lovely stuff, made from some sort of cereal binder, blood, offal, fat and other crap normally thrown away from a pig... Does wonders for your cholestoral.
No clover, it's a normal weekend morning nosh-up
wow nice work, wish my breakfast were a bit more exciting then toast...well sometimes it's toast with tomatoes sliced, but yeh black pudding is ok I had it in an Irish Breakfast in Kilarney once
I'm to bed. Away for the month later in the week and too much to do prior......
Also, I didn't want to mention it but the whole day was clouded by the progress of the Test between England and India...
Hey how r u doing?
Hey - good morning.
good morning. I had a good day today not much in the office
Best: For lunch I had leftovers from my sweetie. Today was Chicken Cacciatore. Mmmmm
Worst: The sweetie leaves at around 6:20am, when I'm barely awake, and I have to get out of bed right then or I'll fall asleep again. This morning I had a webex with a customer at 10am when I was NOT awake.
City rail in the morning and evening. If I wanted a third-world transport system, I'd move to Mumbai.
Yesterday Best- Finding out I wasn't getting kicked out of my flat from the party I had the night before. Worst- being hungover and find out my Landlord wanted to kick me out of my flat.
Today Best- Coffee this morning Worst- the bus being 20 minutes late and the tourist on the bus that asked every stop if this is wear she was suppose to get off.
Best: Being able to eat lunch outside in the warm winter sun (osso bucco - yum) and take O to the park.
Worst: Don't know yet. It's been pretty good... Probably running out of time to get things done and stressing - that will happen later!
Worst: Coming home to a cold, dark, empty house
Best: Coming home to an empty house.
Oh, another worst: Waking up in the mornings
hmm I think Waking up in the morning loses out to getting up in the morning.
*scratching head* what's the diff?
Rolling over, pulling the blankets up a notch, with the sweet realization that you don't have to get up on a cold winter day, at the crack of dawn = priceless
Actually getting up = pain
ahhhh
yesh, agreed
thanks for clearing that up for us Bricoleur and I totally agree there is something so wonderful about waking up on your accord rather than to an alarm clock
getting up in winter is painful! Esp when it's 2degrees outside.
hmm today best thing was : getting the train home with my boy and talking about our plans for the week, laughing at an Irish guy who walked into my class and swore obsurdities cause he was late
worst: not spending the night with my boy, sore eyes from reading too much World War One history notes
I love the poem that Baldrick wrote about life in the trenches...
er, sorry it was titled "The German Guns"
I shall have to check it out
Best of today: was a random guy planting flowers on Uni gave me a flower and call me pretty (yeah sketch I know
)
Worse - waking up to rain![]()
Best: playing awound and wasting time here...
Worst: I had to actually work today... sigh...
hi

Waking up at 4.40 am on the either side of the world at 4.40 am contending with 8 hours time difference is boring. Thank Heavens for Tangler!
Best: having lunch with everyone
worst: just realised its Fri

may I suggest TGI Tangler

It's 2am here and i really dont need a headache and to rotfl.
but i think i did better... i just went to the opp end of my laptop and read the passage... interesting... so what's the clip?
That rocks. I used to read books upside down, but that's pretty normal yeah?
Best things about my day - Monday! I love Mondays.
Worst thing - paying $350 for an MRI and xray of my knee from a stupid soccer injury..........
yeah normal Mick...... for a crazy person![]()
Best: the sun shining in my window this morning
Worst: being reminded about my research project due in a couple of months
Best: Kept running into really nice people this morning. People who were pleasant and considerate. One instance - this guy pulled up next to me at the lights (in a van) and horned at me. When I turned to look at him, he gave me a big smile and gestured to ask if he could cut in infront of me... I smiled back and gestured go ahead, and when the lights changed, I let him go and he gave me a big wave. We stopped at the next lights and he gave me a big smile and thumbs up via his rear view mirror. That was excellent.
Worst: Back hurts and my neighbours are moving out today

Hi help!
what?
best: find this website
worst: a hot american guy find me from dating website and want to exchange body massage with me:(
best: I can send messages from work
worst: I can't do it from home o.O
Oh, and my writing is normal again. As long as I'm at my workplace.
@Dek. I wish some young lady would cheer my day up by stopping at the lights and giving me the horn. ![]()
Yesterday ...
Worst thing - getting squared up and subsequently taking a bouncer in the ribs from a very farquin fast left armer at indoor cricket.
Worst thing - getting told of a 10 day deadline for a six week job.
Best thing - not being Robinson Crusoe on both of the above.
Best- yet again a beautiful, sunny day in Sydney!
Worst- having to meet with the Dean of the Science Faculty as a little pawn for my professor to show how wonderful and intelligent us Coastal Management post-grads are so that they don't cancel the program next year
@arthur - what me? The only time I'd horn at you is if you've done or are going to do something potentially dangerous.... yeah, I can see how that could cheer you up![]()
ruski, did you at least win?
Dek what has been your best and worst for today![]()
*thinks abt it*
I can't remember!![]()
I guess one irritating thing was having the coffee lady at Lush ignore me.... I swear familiarity breeds contempt
Best thing today - my local football (soccer) club, Carolina Railhawks, are about to win their semifinal match of the US Open Cup. I couldn't make the match tonight, but listening by radio. Woo-hoo!
Good stuff!
ruski, did you at least win?
No. But we were going well in the chase until the quicks came on then we got toweled.
oopsh
