Mick's Stuff;
(p.s. love this pic

)
Mick we do have a topic in for the love of food groups called What is the grosses thing you have eaten that you might wan tot check out![]()
Milk bone Dog biscuit. Didn't taste bad, just bland. Needs garlic. If they ever make a garlic and pesto version I'll eat those.
I've had stale juice. T'was okay, but really acidic.
Once upon a time I would have said frogs' legs and pigs ears, but both were really quite good.
Apart from that, I suppose some of the more shocking things I've cooked up.
Like last weekend, I tried some canned crab meat. *puke*

ROFL!
I like that one!
haha oh dear
Been there, done that.... but at least they didn't tell me so in a fortune cookie.... (actually dekrazee1, I think you might have shown a touch of dyslexia on your post..... surely you meant ROLF ?)
I don't care what it is as long as it taste good and my tummy can handle it
Bric - No doubt I have a touch of dyslexia. I keep typing 'my' in place of 'by' etc....
But what in the world does ROLF mean??
its the sound you make as you loose your lunch.....![]()
HAHAHAHAH
humm...probably Alan Davis' answer in QI, ear wax. Although I do have octopus in the fridge...
Sour milk is pretty skanky, or is this only about bad things that we intended to eat? (Although actually I did intend to drink the milk - just didn't intend for it to be sour)
I had some truly terrible sausages once.. really really turgid little buggers
I also don't like Quorn, that's pretty gross...
What's Quorn?
i once drank a cup of water filled with drowned fleas . . . . . long story.
it mad me jumping mad (boom boom) . . . . . . . . . . . . .sorry.
(couldn't resist)
HAHAHAHAH
And do tell Simon.... sounds like too good a story to pass on!
Quorn is "meat" for vegetarians, made out of some kind of processed fungus or mycoprotein or something..
Oh!
All the 'vegetarian meat' I've ever had has been yummylicious!
Well not Quorn, it's nastylicious.
if you are a vegie then why would you want to eat something that isn't meat that tastes like meat
It doesn't taste like meat at all... and it's mainly just flour and gluten
And I don't think the real/proper vegetarians think of it as fake meat. The non-vegs do tho
Actually, the reference to meat might have to do with protein content. I'm not sure.... I'll see if I can find anything out
The fact that they sell it as being like one meat or another makes me think it's intended to be fake meat.. Quorn sausages, Quorn beefburgers, Quorn chicken fillets and etc.
hmmm... that is odd
Thought that Quorn was in South Australia. Probably tastes like dirt.
Dek - re: the fleas,
i was at a friends place after running around like kids do in summer (or used to until those cursed computer games that are so beguiling). My friend offered me something to drink - being brought up polite and unassuming i always say tap water is fine. I wasn't paying attention and heard him running the tap and filling up a glass. I turned around and saw a glass with water in it sitting on the bench. I picked it up and started drinking it all in one go - it wasn't until i was at the bottom that my friend turns around with a freshly poured glass of water in his hand yelling out "NOOOO!"
Apparently, the family cat had fleas and instead of spraying it, any fleas they caught they drowned (not sure why, maybe they didn't like popping them or they had some Charles Manson tendencies and were starting on something small). This glass of water was the one i drank.
ewwww!!!
