so frickin' easy! the only problem, and it wasn't really a problem- it just gave me a little scare, is that it wasn't compatible with the version of roboform i use (which i had thought was the most current version). i was freaking out for about 2 minutes that i lost all my passwords, until i found the latest version through firefox add-ons.
this is so awesome, it gave me some suggested add-ons, so i installed blueorganizer (come on, how could i not? it's called blueorganizer!) and it is so cool. i have a lot of exploring to do.

yep. when i started it up for the first time all my toolbars and bookmarks were right where i left them on FF2. Same order and everything. the theme i was using wasnt compatible tho. :[

Tis why I love FF so so much
before it finished installing it showed me what extensions/add-ons that i had wouldn't be compatible, and asked if i wanted to continue.
roboform is an autofill/password keeper type of program.
i'm happy that my theme was compatible.

Performs really well. It's nifty and fast, and feels light. All good
But it's seriously messed up my Gmail set up, and that has made me very upset...
Does anyone know if PicLens works on ff3? its my favourite add on and they've only just updated it now and its perfect and i'm attached to it and i'm not letting go and you cant make me and and and....*sigh*

Microsoft Abandons Internet Explorer 8 Development for Firefox 3
June 17th, 2008
Steve Ballmer announced early Monday that Microsoft would be halting development on Internet Explorer 8 and focusing the company’s efforts on Firefox 3.
“I’m going to be downloading it myself, and I’ve told all our employees to download Firefox 3 on Tuesday and instructed our programming teams to start working on making the open source browser better rather than stumble around with Internet Explorer 8,” said Ballmer. “I mean, why bother? Firefox 3 has the ‘AwesomeBar,’ you can’t seriously expect to compete with that, can you?”
Ballmer said that Firefox 3.0 will be the standard browser included with Windows 7 installations along and will replace Internet Explorer 7 on Windows Vista SP2. “We’ve been looking for something to try to salvage Vista, and this could be it,” said Ballmer.
Does this mean that - all of a sudden, Firefox sucks because its now got MS support - or has it just won the browser battle. And whats this crap about TRYING to salvage vista - is this an official admission that vista IS SHIAT - and wish they’d kept XP.

Assuming the PDF is locked down for edit/cut and paste etc...
Open the PDF, put it on full screen display (per page) do a print screen and then paste the clipboard into Paint or something. Edit off the crap and save as a JPG. Repeat for each page then upload to photobucket. Hey presto we don't need Ms Smarty-pants to post a PDF and I don't get into the shit for taking the site down...
...and I've just come off the 'phone to Steve and he says that while the Firefox thing is total bollocks they are considering Opera...
