I'm hungry. What should I get for lunch?
pizza
fries
green tea w/citrus
omg yes
its so crap though i just bought a turkish... smoked salmon and egg with salad
its cold here...
when i left home this morning it was 5 degrees.... its now gone up to about 10 ![]()
its 65 here sup
i wish it was cold outside
what's that in celcius?
Fahrenheit
....
during the olympics here i overheard some americans asking what the temperature was in fahrenheit - as our news only shows celsius. A little old lady piped up and said a rough guide is to double the celsius amount and add 32 or something. Which would make BlueK's temperature around 17 degrees? We wouldn't exactly call that warm in australia!
Although i have a mate that lives over near detroit and he said the newspapers showed a story one year where workmen working outside had their lunch in a freezer cause it was warmer than outside - now that is crazy.
we definitely can get very large extremes in temperature, here in the u.s.
oh - and i would have suggested maybe soup with crusty bread. The pubs are usually empty round this end of town on a wet cold day in the middle of the week - although the alluring taste of beer should sometimes be avoided, you should always have an 'off' day.

i seem to remember something about cold oceans and large landmasses cooling/heating faster than the sea surrounding - so you get milder weather on the coast as compared to inland. It is at least the case here in Aus - up and down the coast is particularly mild most of the time but once you go inland it gets bloody freezing in winter.
yeah, makes sense. here it's the north of the country that gets really bad winters...........which if you think about it it is the middle of the continent.
i'm living in arizona now.................we have one temperature in the summer............frickin' hot!
ºC= 5/9 (ºF-32)
Therefore 65º F = 18.3º C.
As previously mentioned, not particularly warm here in Aust.
I love the hot weather..
you just confused the heck out of me, bond.![]()
i just made a similar post elsewhere to you.............and when this one popped up, i was wondering what happened to my post..............and then i look up and see that my last post was 2 hours ago and i know that i just posted a few minutes ago to you.............
I don't mind the weather, so long as it's not constant. I hate days and days of heat and stickyness, same as i don't like constant freezing cold, a week of rain, or pouring sun! I don't like the weather to change every single day, because then you can't plan anything, but I like it just so.
Sorry Moneypenny.....![]()
not a problem, bond............you sometimes forget that i'm not as experienced with all that espionage and sneaking from forum to forum...........![]()
We'll make a heroine out of you yet, moneypenny![]()

Wow, so you are already a heroine??
I'm impressed!!
i got tired of watching you have all the fun.![]()
We could catch some villain's together....![]()
i've always wanted to fight the enemy with you, bond.
now who's the hero and who's the side-kick?

this is getting interesting.
bananaman had electrically heated underwear!
dont ask how i know that...
this is getting very interesting.
And he fought a man who looked suspiciously like hitler!
i've lost interest.![]()
Ah damn...so close!
His real name is Eric?
who? bananaman or hitler?
lmao!
Both maybe...dont rule anything out!
this may surprise you, but i don't like hitler.
you don't like hitler? but he's such a loveable little larrikin ![]()
hey - back on topic a little bit. Dek i saw on another forum that you made your own samosa's. I have been thinking about making some myself but wanted to get a tried and true recipe - are you able to hand over yours or is it a family secret or something?
Not a family secret at all!
I'll pass you the recipe. Will need to write it up first.
(Meanwhile, did you know we hava a recipe forum too?)
mmmmmm. I'll post a recipe for a dessert that is the bees knees. Not sure if anyone would still be looking at it though.
Ooh.. can I have that too? I love Indian food! I can make my own roti![]()
OMG - i have a topic in my recent activity list with over 8000 unread messages....
I think it's one that just sits at the bottom of the list (unseen) and I never look at it because I'm browsing through all the other ones that interest me.
I think someone just made a post there and it jumped up the list.![]()
You can make your own roti?!?! I'm damn impressed!
What's the bees knees dessert Simon?
Meanwhile, I'm hungry. Gonna have my kopi and friand now
okay - i posted that recipe. It's off the top of my head so i may have missed something. Doesn't require any baking and tastes absolutely beautiful
Woo hoo! No baking FTW!
the best thing about making your own roti (or any indian-style bread) is that once you have the basic recipe down, you can add just about anything you like to suit what you are going to eat it with.
Or season it for a great afternoon or lunchtime snack on its own
Yeah....
And you can take it a step further and stuff it. That's what they call paratha
I'd kill for a home made potato paratha right about now
mmmm samosa's
*drools*
simon........your recipe sounds yummy....
