Need help. I'm at my grandparents for my granddad's 70th birthday and to entertain the small horde of midget people that are going to be coming it would be useful to have a collection of simple PC games... stuff like Tetris or Pac-Man or Pinball
Preferably downloadable for free...
ZUMA!!!
And then there's puzzle bobble
Do you want online games too? Or just PC games?
Oh, and small horde of midget people - Love it!
ROFL!

Children are essentially midget drunks...
but normally with a lower blood alcohol content
They're just naturally drunk... or at least act like it
Oh... you are so Dylan Moran!
Hehe... Dylan Moran is brilliant
That is why I stole his joke ![]()
hehehe
dek likes!
And for those who don't get what we're referring to:
How about chopper? Even though its really frustrating to play.
Chopper?
i have lots of stuff.......let me look.
how old are these kids?
a nice variety of free games
you should be able to find plenty there......
but, i do have a lot more if you want.....
btw....these two sites are not just for kids......
...so use your judgement...
The midgets are a variety of ages... all school-age, I think the youngest is 6
Oldest... ehh... not sure, probably 12 or 13ish.
Thanks for the many sites ![]()
How about Wolfenstein: Enemy territory?
@Happy, I'm sure they'd love it. Their parents on the other hand probably wouldn't be best pleased.
Ah fair point.
As it turned out I didn't put a lot of effort into finding things, and it didn't matter because they were easily occupied by a stack of videos/DVDs (there's something about The Simpsons that makes it watchable by all ages...) and a trip out to some sort of fair that was going on in the woodlandy parky place down the road.
But Wolfenstein is good for the soul ...
LOL!
And Sk - so true.... Simpsons works every time for some reason.
Even some of the more 'dense' episodes keep them entranced
and no matter how well you plan .......if it involves entertaining children they will find ways to entertain themselves.....
the classic example of getting a fancy toy and the kid playing with the box instead.... comes to mind...
Too true.
I find my watch works well enough for younger kids![]()
does it have wolfenstein on it?
LOL!
Nah, it has one of those timing rings which turns endlessly.... so that's all they do. They sit there and turn it
i find that if you play drill sargeant with little kids you can get them to do things that they wouldn't do.....like clean their rooms or be quiet and sit still.........it's a temporary fix, but sometimes that's all you need....
playing cinderella's step-mother works with little girls sometimes too......."cinderella! clean your room!"
ah - a time machine. Now i understand. Talking of time machines, has anyone been watching the latest series of Dr Who? What's the opinion? (mine is that it's not too shabby)
Yes, my time machine....

Bluegirl - hahahah you've just reminded me of something I forgot!!
I used to play drill sargent with kids too!!!
Making them practise marching works well at the mall, when you don't need em all running in separate directions![]()
Simon - I've missed it more than I've watched it, but the eps I've watched I've enjoyed
definitely......i first discovered the game drill sargeant when i was a camp counselor to 4 year olds.
drill sargeant?
"ARE YOU EYEBALLING ME KID?"
"THERE ARE ONLY TWO TYPES OF KIDS THAT COME FROM ALABAMA. STEERS AND NON DEFINED SEXUALLY ORIENTED HUMAN SUB GROUP"
"I DO NOT SEE THE SHINE ON THAT BED POST - DROP AND GIVE ME TWENTY"
lol.........well it's similar....
Well, I take more of a Police Academy approach....
Move it move it!
"SOLDIER! STAND UP STRAIGHT!"
"SOLDIER! GET THAT GRIN OFF OF YOUR FACE!"
"SOLDIER! THIS ROOM IS NOT CLEAN! I WANT TO BE ABLE TO BOUNCE A QUARTER OFF OF THAT BED!"
hahahahah
they might giggle.....but they obey...
Yeh!
Oh oh, and the other movie line I use is - I'm watching you...
That's for when they're being naughty and I let them know I'm not angry, but I don't want them doing whatever it is they're doing
my daughter still thinks that i have special mommy vision......i can see everything..
I still believe that about my mother!![]()
My son is into Sim Tower at the moment. The result is usually a dogs breakfast but it's a start.
Sending ...
