It's Emperor Palpatine's birthday? (Ok so that's not Emperor Palpatine, but I was looking through Wikipedia's list of events for November 24th and that title jumped out at me until I read it more closely)

Apparently it's also the anniversary of The Origin of Species. 150 years to the day. Maybe you are celebrating that.

Or it could be something that Wikipedia doesn't know about (unthinkable though such a thing is).

Simplest thing I can think of would be that it's your birthday, or you found a tenner wafting on a breeze, or you just got a puppy.

Because do not try to tell me that a tenner or a puppy wouldn't make you cheerful...

Or it could be something even simpler... change in the dosage of your medication?

Jeez that's a bit steep CP.   There was a time that you could send the little buggers out to work.  The chimney sweep used to take care of them and you'd get money rather than having to fork it out.  I blame airco and warm climates.

^ agree with that. Aside from that no one knows anyone anymore. No community. Everyone is inside minding their possessions. When I was a young kid we would roam the streets with good intentions because people were out and about who we knew and who new our parents and any anti social behaviour would get home before we did for the impending strap.

Yeah. Even in my day, we, the neighbourhood kids ran around without parents freaking out. And this is from very early days. I remember hanging out with the neighbour's 3 girls and their cousins at the first house.... so I woulda been around 4 or 5

Also, that freed up my mum to get yummy recipes from their grandmother
