Unfair! Under scientific conditions, females have been proven to be better than males at Tetris. I think it is something to do with the a certain gene which causes the release of a chemical that activates the "couldn't be arsed to do that when there is a woman around who is perfectly capable of doing it" gland in a male...

I present two specimens here who negate that study
I had an epic score on Tetris DX for Gameboy once... then some annoying little person borrowed it, and wiped the saved scores 
It was something like 235 million... not that that means a lot without knowing how easy or hard it was to earn points. But after you lost there were little scenes of rockets launching, bigger and more impressiver the better you'd scored, and I remember that high score producing a mahoosive rocket thing taking off...
I never got my hand on a Gameboy, but we had one of those little Tetris handhelds. The ones you could get for $10 or something. The highest score would be 999999 (+_ a 9).
Anyways, point is, my sis would ALWAYS get to it first! After that it didn't matter, cos it only kept the highest score, not a list.
She did the same for the snake game on BOTH my early Nokias too.
