So what's happened to everyone?

Nothing's happened to me. Just lurkin'

Could be the problem - lack of things happening means little to tell the internet about.

I suppose some things have happened.

My dad got married, I had some exam results for the 2nd year at uni (2.1 equivalent), I'm back at home for the summer and doing things... just not very exciting things.

Although, planning a trip across Europe with some friends in September; that's kinda exciting.

Lookit, I found all kinds of news to share.

Good result, 2:1 equivalent at second year - well done.  Cambridge is probably the hardest for comp sciences.  A lot of development heads would take that 2nd yr result as better than a 2:1 graduation at other uni's...

Next year is going to be fuuuuuun (or you could drop the n and it'd be about right too)

An individual project is 1/4 of the mark - have to do... something (most likely involving writing a piece of software, but it doesn't have to be)... on a freely chosen topic, then write a dissertation of about 10k words about it. This to be done while everything else is going on as normal, just to soak up what free time we might have had left.

And since we're sharing, I'm in the process of wrapping up at current job, then a 2 week break, then I start at the new one.

Now I'm considering a trip across Europe too....

What are you changing job to and from?

Europe trip should be good... InterRail tickets give us all the train travel we want across the continent (well, 10 days of travel within a 22 day period on the tickets we bought, but still, plenty of trainage), so we're making our way from Amsterdam to Rome via Hamburg, Berlin, Prague, Vienna and Venice.

Fortunately I have a friend who is monumentally better at organising such things than I am...
