Running with bad Knees ( or other leg problems)
I have dealt with minor leg issues by addresing running style and stride.
Landing a little more forward on my feet has limited the impact my legs/knees feel as I run. Avoiding the heel strike so popular for so many years.

I walk about 3/4 of a mile to a bus stop several days a week and on occasion I walk all the way in or home ( usually home though- sweaty)
Will the buses in city and UVA ever improve service (options and times) to make it useful like in other real public transport-heavy cities?

Weight lifting - barebells and / or machines
I am in the early phases of a total body fitness regimen. besides struggling with motivation I am looking for a little help in putting together a useful but feasible workout program.
I will do some at the gym and some at home with dumbbells and Elastic bands.

Whole Foods and harri Teeter have nice organic produce sections.
Giant has pretty good prices but I need to be vigilant when I grab something and read the labels.

I think I can only commit to one- what should it be? Maybe do the others later.

I look better because I spend so much time moving and outside.
I have also lost weight and the health benefits are piling up.

being 4... The age i am I like alot of the great 70's rock songs and jams. Do not like ny rap- no music there, but also like to listen to podcasts of shows or news... KIND OF WEIRD i KNOW.

I started running to lose weight and get back into some old favorite clothes.
Now I continue to stay in shape but more importantly to be healthy. My weight is stable and I like where it is- but it is only there as the result of activity and then eating right.
I found I tend to eat better when i am regularly active.
