I am always looking for ways to maintain healthy weight for a 40-something. I have found that regularly running and walking has helped and maintained my healthy lifestyle and LIFE. ![]()
I started running to lose weight and get back into some old favorite clothes.
Now I continue to stay in shape but more importantly to be healthy. My weight is stable and I like where it is- but it is only there as the result of activity and then eating right.
I found I tend to eat better when i am regularly active.
Runnning and eating better ( not necesarily less) has helped my continued weight loss and my future maintenance of an ideal bodyweight- at least according to the charts if not my ego and desire for a beach body.
maintaining a healthy weight- finding it first was the chalenge and then eatig right and limiting the snacks and bad foods has helped .
I read once and have found it to be true- I eat better hen I workout regularly.
Any thoughts on exercise and eating right being linked?
As a newer runner I am also pretty new to the area so always looking for new plces to run.
Where can I run for fun in town, trails- how about the mountains- they look great and I want to trail run.
I am still a newer runner and doing OK with weight loss- where can I run in Charlottesville ?
