Communities make money. Yep, sure they do, how do you balance the conflict of 'communities are about soft things but commerce is about hard things'

Communities are about giving, sharing and being friends. Charging money with a margin is to some degree not giving, sharing or being friends. Yes - there is value which may go well beyond the price, but money is funny, it always change things.
I get you. Money does change things, and most times, not for the better.

Like the old adage of never going into business with friends cause it may not work out.
