How is this any different from Del.icio.us and other social bookmarking websites? 

It's actually social... 

for example, ma.gnolia has groups and discussions

and generally is less about contests and gaming than sites like digg or delicious

but it's not really a competition

it's just another choice of service

oh - pretty well. Cool. Patience is important. Tangler is trying to work hard to improve what we hae instead of adding more....

Yeah, it's pretty good.  It can be frustrating trying not to yell about how much we love it while the fun grows.

But we're just working to make the customers we have really love it without trying to get too much attention.

where are the most active/interesting discussions?

The startups and their users is working welll, but only if the actual team are involved.

Weewar is going really well. Particls. Omnidrive. And about 20 others are good. Those who aren't active die off like other forums.

Yep, the startup focus has been useful as a way to focus the party and activity in one area so at least we are fun and full for one subject area.
 

Other groups that are going well - Riddles, Travel, Politics, Gadgets. General stuff.
