Hey, that sounds like a great idea.  There are German and French groups here on Tangler.  Leave a note in there as well.  They're great for practice if these languages aren't your first.

I'm going to agree with Erik - Great idea. I'm learning spanish, and practice is essential.

Oh. I like the sound of this. I was just in another group asking about languages... what would be a good language to start with... I started learning French at school but never kept it up. I also had a brief go at Japanese and failed to learn much Dutch when I lived there briefly recently. Looking forward to checking out your site.

Now that's a quick and smart way to get a social network going! Learning a language is such a good incentive and using something like Skype to do it - which most people are familiar with - a bonus. I would consider using this if I ever get serious about learning a language. I imagine it would become quite addictive and the other users would also help prevent procrastination moments.
