  New release out - now with invoicing and OpenID

  The latest version of 88 Miles has just been released. It includes a number of bugs fixes, but the major changes are OpenID support and integration with Saasu.com - and Australian based, online accounting system.   88 Miles upgrades

  I just rolled out a couple of minor changes to 88 Miles.

  1. Full company details - you can know chose to store complete company details in 88 Miles, as well as store notes. You can even export the details as a vCard! If you use the quick add facility on the project page to add a company, click the "More details" button to fill out more information.
  2. You can now store notes about projects as well as set default shift tags. Any tag that you set will automatically be applied to new shifts with in that project. Again, click the "More details" button to get the new options.

  88 Miles for Managers

  Sure can. At the moment, they need to fall under your account as a staff member (So the user needs a business account) but I'm working on allowing registered users to share projects.

  About 88 Miles

  88 Miles is all about simple time tracking. I decided to build 88 Miles because as a freelancer I was finding it hard to keep track of client work. I had tried using spreadsheets, but it took long and it was to easy to forget. I wanted a system that I could simply punch-in when I started a project and to be able to punch out when I finished and 88 Miles was borne!

  Since then, I have added a number of features to make make 88 Miles more powerful, whilst still keeping it simple to use. There is now a mobile phone (WAP) version, a full REST API, the ability to add staff members and graphical reporting.

  Thanks for the feedback, I have made the secondary heading a bit more description - I like the hero graphic though. I'll see what I can come up with to make it a little more descriptive.

  What improvements would you like to see?

  What features would you like to see on 88 Miles? A list of things that I have on my list include:

  • Ability to punch in/punch out via email/twitter/IM 
    
  • Full company details (ie. contact details as well)
  • Ability to import/export vcard for the company details
  • branding/logos
