  how do i get notes from my outlook or my blackberry to my iphone?

  I don't know that I understand what your saying, do you mean there is no cut and paste on the phone (because there is not) or do you mean can you not move notes from the iphone to outlook's notes via a sync (and I think that is a no as well).

  There are still MAJOR security issues, and I'm starting to believe that I shouldn't recommend it to anyone who uses it for serious business stuff.

  you mean desktop backgrounds? You can pretty much do anything if you jailbreak the phone.

  Just visit jailbreakme.com and it should install the Installer.app which will give you a host of applications to install.

  iPhone iSsues

  I thought it did sync with Outlook. That seems very strange that it doesnt. The iphone is certainly perfect if you have a mac. Nearly everyone I saw in line had a mac either with them or at home. The phone is probably slightly more useful on OS X.

  Next iPhone Update?

  I speculate sometime this month. I think there will be a major iTunes upgrade either late this month or early September with iPhone ringtones and possibly some other stuff. If they have an event to announce the new iPhone/iTunes they will probably discuss new features for Leopard, or at least discuss the Leopard release (coming sometime in October).

   If this is false, the most major upgrades would likely coincide with the release of Leopard (and a new iTunes to go with it).

  Review

  Don't think there will be a new version of the iPhone this soon. I think it'll be at least another year maybe 2. They must first release Leopard and all of the computer upgrades that go with it. In addition, they probably need to establish a good record of upgrading the software of the phone and figure out a way to update the phone which consumers will actually appreciate (major hardware change, or major software change that would be difficult to do with a simple update). I think the first generation of iPhones will last a little while, the only thing I could see changing in the near future would be hard drive size (and some other minor hardware improvements that would not be noticeable to the general public).

  Voice Quality

  The audio quality is decent. However, my volume on calls seems a little low and I can't find a setting to turn it up (the volume is as high as it can go). Hope they might add this option in a software update.
