For me romance stories are wonderful views into people's lives.  It allows us to see the pains and anguish we ourselves may feel but also the great joy and laughter.  I like seeing the various types of stories of unrequited love or relationships in a budding new love.  All are interesting and I am glad we have Judas Kiss to show us another aspect.

I'm not sure if romance is the right word for me. I mean I guess I call it a love stories, the things I like. Romance to me seems like  a moment in time whereas love stories seems epic and can languish over a life time. Semantics I guess.

I suppose Romeo and Juliet is my favorite Shakespeare play.  It has romance, but it's a story about two people that love each other, but cant be happy. I don't know why that speaks to me so deeply.  I'm certainly very happy with Adam, but there is something about tragic love stories.  When I broke up with my first love, I was devastated for years. But I found something romantic in pain and suffering, it lead to my first short film actually. I used it as the back story of my character in Sunflowers.

And Judas Kiss is a different kind of love story. Or should I say love stories, and funny how its current incarnation is tragic and happy ended. I'm really not sure if that will stay the same, it's just a matter of the rewrites on what goes and what stays.

I LOVE happy endings.  It's hard to have invested emotional energy into a situation just to have the rug pulled out.

I agree.  Happy endings are so much better.  When I get involved in characters I want things to happen well for them.  Bad endings leave me feeling bad.  But there are times thats the way it has to be for a stories sake.  I still hope for happy endings though.

Bittersweet yeah.  Those are good to. The thing that has bothered me most about the gay film industry is there are not enough gay romance stories.  I LOVE them.  I can't get enough of them.  That is one of the reasons I am so excited about this film.  I think it could lead to a largely untapped market.  Porn has its place don't get me wrong but I really really love a good story.

I know both Carlos and JT and I know the story once on screen is going to be great!
