  • Powerpoint in Mac

You know you can get a thumbnail view by going to View > Slide Sorter

I don't think there is a way to show thumbnails instead of text in the minibar

  • Apple Stores and their Geniusii

Wow. I would have left and come back later. I went to see a genius because I thought my mic jack wasn't working. Turns out it was a simple system preference (although I could have sworn I had checked that). When I got back home, I realized my mics were in fact not working and found that was the real problem.

But the genius seemed like a jerk, although I'm not sure why, maybe I was just pissed I had overlooked something so simple. Although the people before me were asking about using an iPod, to which the genius explianed the process of installing iTunes, and such....

I can't even imagine working for in a store like that, seems like it'd get frustrating very quickly.

  • Should I reinstall OSX?

No idea. I've never reinstalled OSX (although I'll probably have my first experience with it when Leopard comes out). I doubt that backing up email would be all that difficult.

I think there's a good article on this here . Good luck!
