New wireless mics We used to have Four like-new mics which have gotten beat up over the years. Time to replace them.
A Real handheld wireless It just looks wrong to rig up a handheld by attaching a gray hammer mic to a wireless transmitter and hold the whole thing together with a glob of gaffer tape. It's hard to look elegant when you're holding something that looks like it was created by Dr. Emmett Brown.
Have a router input inside the control room. When you want to route images from a laptop you need to go through a scan converter and then into a router input to get to a TBC (usually TBC3). But the only router input is in the studio, so you have to snake a 50' BNC/coax cable all the way from the control room out to the "Router In" jack in the studio, which is then goes 20' back to the router. The router which is about 5' away from the laptop in the first place.
