What does it need and what is the most important thing to develop next?

Not sure if this can be done, but it'd be nice if I could get some localised information.

Like maybe a section where it directs me be doctors, pharmacies etc in my local area.  Big ask tho me thinks

It needs more common ailments like 'you have a tummy ache - take a bromo' - instead of 'you have stomach cancer, you gonna die'

Localized info would be REALLY cool. You could even call in the prescription or email them without getting off the computer.

They do it in Amsterdam. You can walk into any chemist and get your prescription up on the computer and filled. So it can be done. A huge project, all would need to comply, but is possible.

Maybe the results can be ordered according to the severeness of the ailment they describe?

So start off with the common cold and move into pneumonia 

Thought of a few more things...

Maybe incorporate a remedies search. I don't mean self-medication, more like "Have lemon and honey in warm water to soothe blocked sinuses" etc

I had a few other things in mind, but I can't remember anymore.... 

Sounds like a great idea! You could include a shopping list as well if there are mulitple things to buy.

I was thinking that it could incorporate some sort of personal health diary/reminder kinda service. So you could keep track of things like yearly medical check ups or something.... not sure ppl would want to put that info online tho

discussion tied to forum watched by real doctors who review the case, ask a question or two (tracked to aid new searches) and concur with the suggested treatment, or other directions. Results would be used to drive autocomplete suggestions and choice of diagnostic questions. Any suggestion with negative feedback would be  immediately reviewed.
