It would be nice if we could see which players are online. Right now we can only see all registered players

I added an online link so you can see who exactly is online... Since I am the only one on right now I can't verify it is working correctly!   If you have any troubles with it, lemme know.

I got confused between the two games I have going. The messages are saved in the game that had it!

No problem.  the messaging is done with AJAX but to post it has to submit a value which reloads the page.  I don't have a lot of experience in Javascript but I will be working on it being more view-friendly.

I currently have the site validating sessions.  I'm gonna have to see if it will be an issue with other functions I have as well and see if it's plausable.

One more thing: I suggest making the messages show from old to new, as opposed of new at the bottom and stacking the newer messages above that

I'm working on an Ajax based chatroom that updates a DIV, but I'm having some issues with it.  Once I get it working correctly I will incorporate it into the game part.  I know it's kind of a pain looking at the top of the window for new messages.

Ya, I didn't like it at first either. 
I'm still new to the whole client-server requests and having some issues with the chat box I have loading correctly and being able to pull information dynamically.  I'll get it working soon tho.

I think the placing of the panels should be more consistent.



In the game above, I'm on the left..... in the 5 other games I have running, I'm on the right. I keep clicking on the wrong cards cos I forget to check which one is me.

Hrrmm... ya, right now it's the player who initiated the game is on the left and other is on the right...  I'll look into making the "user" always on the left.   It does make sense to do it that way.

I'm not sure if this really is the case, or if I'm dreaming so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong:

When you invite someone to a game, they get sent an invitation. You can't start the game till they accept, which is fine. But I'm not given any notice when they do accept (via email) so I have no idea until I happen to go in for another game, and then I'll see that it's my turn.

I think that at the very least, an e-mail telling me the person has joined, or that it is my turn should go out.

Ummm... i think you are right.  I'll have to add that in.

Heh ... I've never received an e-mail for an invite,  I wonder if it gets spammed ... nope, not even. I do unclick the in-game notifications though. Still, no invite notification has ever gotten here ...

Sure? Basically ... the only way I ever know somebody wants to play is via looking at the site and my game list there, and seeing  a game listed with a blue "accept game?" link next to it.

Oh... so you aren't even getting game invites when someone asks you to join a game?   That's weird... you're the first to tell me that.  What email service do you use?  Also, verify your email addy is spelled correctly in your profile.  Maybe there was a misspelling if you never got any emails.

*blinks* riiiiiight, so who thought it would be funny to change my e-mail to ghstomahwks@gmail.com, without the a in tomahawks? Eh? Maybe it was Maidrowl ...
Hmm ... and the profile doesn't seem to give me an option to update that. No big deal though, the invites get to me quickly enough anyway *shrug*.

Heh, you'd be surprised how quickly I can type ghstomahawks. It's been my default username for quite a while now (thought I don't use any default password BS ... that'd be bad) on just about any site I register on. Occasionally that is one of the mistakes I make, leaving out the A as I type it about at about a gajillion words per second.

I'd really appreciate it if you could make it remember my login.... when I have games in progress, I'm having to log in 10-20 times a day!

That will open up too many security issues that I won't have time to deal with in the near future.   Sorry. 

If you leave the window open or tab in the browser it won't log you out unless you click on log out.  I haven't tested the session timeout yet, so I'm not sure exactly how long it would last, but even when I play at work I leave it open and never have to log back in all day.

Yeah, I tend to leave it open, but that means adding one more tab to the gazillion I already have...
