Is she spinning clockwise or anti clockwise?

Then check this out to see where you stand;

Thanks Phong........
I'm a right brainer!
Me too. I can normally try and see these the other way, but this one has me stumped.
It might be a bit hoaxed up.
I initially saw it as spinning clockwise - tried to see the other way but couldn't - looked away for a sec, then when i looked back it was going counter-clockwise. Now that i've seen both my brain can't decide which way it's going to go, gives an uneasy feeling.
does that make me a no-brainer?
It's easier if you don't look at the legs.
that's a statement that could be applied in many everyday situations . . . . . . ![]()
HAHAHAHA
So it is!
whoa - that's spooky. I thought it was a hoax also because would only spin clockwise.... then I focussed on the feet + reflection for a few seconds and it reversed.
Thanks Phil, with your hint, I went back and was able to get it to reverse...previous 3 efforts had me permanently locked into clockwise spin
So I wonder if the one your mind first locks on indicates something about left/right brain dominance {although I don't buy most of the mysticism that has grown up around this distinction, it is very interesting}
The Middle Tennessee State University learning strategies web site has a test "Hemispheric Dominance Test" that claims to give an indication of "balance of your hemispheres "
With enough practice, you should be able to switch the direction you see it rotating in with ease...
Just like looking at those 3D pictures.
Like this one:

I hate these I never see anything in them no matter how hard i stare!!
Stop staring.... start gazing
De-focus is the best way I know how to describe it
haha okay I will try again
There is nothing there - my reality won't let me admit otherwise. It is not like Yoda saying "Do or do not. There is no try" it is a case of "Do not try or do. There is no image."
yeah been "de-focusing" and "gazing" for a while now and nothing! My eyes feel like they are going crossed, I give up what is the image?
A saturn like shape
Similar to this:

But less tilted
Hallucination:a strong perception of an event or object when no such situation is present
It's there!!!
haha well I don't see and bric doesn't see it then........
You both need lessons in gazing
hey I gaze all the time! At the stars, the ocean, boys...... I should be an expert by now!
Perhaps some formal training is required:

Psychomancy... now that has a certain ring about it...
Gutenberg images is mad at ya
i can see it. (as a bit of a belated response).
Although it's my first time on a pc - thought it wouldn't work. I had a friend who's parents had one of these hanging on their wall back in the early nineties. They didn't believe they worked - they just liked the look of them. They wouldn't believe that i could see it and thought i was full of it (it was a dinosaur scene)
Yeah.... darn non-believers!
I resemble that remark.
Anyone up for making some goodies?

Maybe this should go in Tangler games?
Can you not really see them Bric? If not don't worry - you're not really missing much - it's one of those things where you go "oh is that all it is?"
Simon I don't see them at all.... never have... I did perhaps get a clue from the instructions on the flashinsider page ... they say to hold your finger up and stare at the screen beyond it and you'll see two fingers (from different views from left/right eye)... but I don't ... a fuzzy finger is all I get... so perhaps I have something wrong with depth perception.... although it hasn't exhibited itself in other areas (eg. I can catch a ball, frisbee, toss and catch a lacrosse ball etc.)...
Did you or anybody check out the one I created (the link I showed?)
I just looked at it
ROFL!!!
Nice one Bric!
Too bad I can't see my own handiwork ![]()
Yeah I bric I never see but I do believe it is because I have bad hand-eye cordnation or something along those lines
Yep, I saw it too.
Nice one Bric.
WIZZY:Not me! And not anyone I know, either! But, does that mean that if a person can't see 3D he or she has a bad brain.
DR. I.C. THREEDY:Absolutely not! I'm just saying that vision involves a learning process and the integration of eyes, brain, mind and body. We think we see with our eyes, but we actually see with our minds!
WIZZY:Fantastic. Most people are capable of "changing their minds", so maybe they're also capable of changing what or how they see!
DR. I.C. THREEDY:It's worth a try!
Ok .. I'll try the exercises... but be warned ... If I do end up seeing the damn things I'm just liable to become one of those awful "reformed smoker" or "reborn fundamentalist" types ![]()
hahahahaha
In that case....
She spins anticlockwise, but unfortunately no Saturn for me.
Sending ...
