I am using mind mapping for user experience work (usability). Here's a presentation that I did at an IA conference in Sydney:
Nice presentation, have you purchased the ebook you reference in your presentation?
Greg
Thanks Greg,
I have a copy of the book. It was given to me as I have a small case study in it!
It is a very easy read (skim) and has many useful case studies, tips and strategies for mapping. I knew most of them but got a few nuggets.
The best nugget was to map all my previous maps onto one master map. I searched on .mmap on my PC and very quickly created a massive map by dragging the files from File manager onto the appropriate category arms in a new map. Links are automatically created. It is a great way to organise knowledge and see more relationships and missing areas for insight.
