what do you think about our random photo feature ?

It's an interesting idea... but once again, I think it's too static...

If it were a slide show, I might watch it longer than right now, where I have to click over and over

i wonder if there would be a bandwidth issue for some (parents may not have the fastest computers)

oh and I think "show a random photo" should be renamed to "next"

only issue with next is.... "next" what? next random, next photo from same member, next photo based on recency?

Slide shows work fairly well on modem, as far as I've experienced

What about 'Show another (random) photo'?

What about just "Show next random photo >", with the right arrow reinforcing the idea that there's more.

Actually, just stepped back to the main 'Photo' page. It would be nice to randomise the photo inline on that main page, i.e not have to go to a separate page to see another random photo. That way they can still check out whatever else is on the main page, such as the tags to the left. If they wanted to comment on the random photo, then they could go to the separate page.
