I want to inquire you about the organization of a start up weekend here in Montreal. We should set up a group and send an email to them. I am convinced there is enough talent in this city to make it a success.

hi mehdi, there was a post about startupweekend in Montreal Tech Watch recently. I think the conclusion from the comments was that we should wait how startupweekend in Toronto is doing and learn from their experience and erros.

Well, I agree that we should learn from mistakes. And since there are like already 5 spots that are already taken securing a spot right now is I think a good idea.

We will be anyways able to learn from all the mistakes not just one. The advantage of registring now is to have time to organize the event and gather drive enough people into the initiative.
