South Korean Trade and Industry Department of Energy recently announced the development of next-generation rechargeable battery technology plan. The South Korean government forecasts that in 2008 South Korea's exports of lithium-ion batteries will reach 2.3 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 35% of the global compaq EVO N400c battery, compaq EVO N410c battery market, this amount will be increased in 2012 to six billion U.S. dollars, South Korea and occupy half of the global market. At present South Korea's exports of 900 million U.S. dollars, accounting for 22% of the global market.
