March 3, 2009, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission and the United Frontrow company announced in China NIMH AA rechargeable batteries  Latitude D620 battery , Latitude D820 battery implementation of the voluntary recall.
The recalled 2400-mAH NIMH AA rechargeable batteries for 930TM, 930HT and public address equipment in public places 940TM. The recall is limited to part number for the rechargeable battery 374-30-400-00, part number marked on the battery light green on the outer. The recalled batteries  XPS M140 battery ,  Inspiron B130 battery , , Inspiron E1705 battery  from June 2005-December 2008 at the National Distribution Company of Frontrow store sales, unit price for the seven U.S. dollars / block; portable batteries sold in a public address equipment for the unit price 300 U.S. dollars / month.
The recalled merchandise with several members of about 41,000. The reasons for the recall, the battery easy to rapidly overheating, there is the danger of burns to users. At present, Frontrow company has received from the 4 batteries overheating in the course of the report, there is no report of personal injury.
