I think the N95 original has been my best ever Nokia -- I obviously like the 8GB version, but the original N95 really still appeals.

N95-3, hands down. Gotta love that 3G action.:)

    Nokia 8801, but I got an itch for a E90 or N95-3

    2008-02-04 19:50:43.0

N95 8GB is the best featured packed device i've owned till yet -so for me it's N95 8GB !

    2008-02-05 00:48:10.0

I currently use N958GB , using it for a couple of months now. But the best Nokia that I've ever used is the Nokia 6630. Still feel its faster, never hangs, decent camera and 3G. I am just amazed with its stability.

    2008-02-05 00:48:19.0

To me it's the N95 8GB, but my hopes are high for the coming S60 touch devices.

    the 5110:

It once fell 4 floors and still worked! Probably still does (i handed it down to someone a few years later.)

Nokia won my allegiance that dayXP

    2008-02-05 01:00:19.0

    Hehe I throw away a 5110 yesterday

    2008-02-05 01:02:21.0

Mine is/was the Nokia E61. I've had it for 1.5 years and it's been great. The combination of having full QWERTY and S60 couldn't be better!

Now I hope that they release a QWERTY S60 phone (or touchscreen QWERTY) at the MWC because I need a new phone with the latest software!!!

My *favourite* Nokia device ever was the Nokia 1100. I used to live in Abu-Dhabi where hitting the beach was a daily ritual and the 1100 was the perfect thing to take instead of the 6600/6630/N70/N80/E65/N95 (depending on which year it was). Since it cost practically nothing it didn't matter if it got buried in the sand or fell out of my pocket while jet-skiing. I've had 3 of these so far and they're almost bomb-proof. Also the fact that they have the original Nokia Snake game is a big plus;)

However my *best* Nokia ever would be the N95 after all the firmware updates. I haven't bought an N95-8GB yet so that might change in the near future but if I'm honest the N95 turned out to be pretty damn good after all the kinks were ironed out with new firmware. it also has a memory card slot :p

Has to be my current one, the N73. Its been a great mobile for me over the last year. Recently had the  n95 8gb which looks like being my replacement unless nokia release something better in the next month.

    2008-02-05 15:57:29.0

I am seriously missing the Snake game big time!!! Kinda the reason that I don't like new models immediately but am fairly impressed with the N95.

    2008-02-05 18:16:38.0

    I want one!
No really, I really really want one!

    2008-02-05 18:51:11.0

it will be the NXX S60 device that will have a 5 MP camera, Xenon flash, WiFi, GPS AND the most important WCDMA 1700/2100 Mhz.  Everything else until then is just a transition period...so for now It's my current N95-3.

    2008-02-05 20:31:03.0

The best ever Nokia handset was the Nokia 6310i. I think that can be backed up by the amount of people still using it. Personally it is the handset I owned the longest, almost 9 months. In its day it had it all, GPRS, Bluetooth, great battery life and an excellent keypad. More recently the N73 has filled a position as a great, all round handset.

    2008-02-06 03:11:26.0

    9110:)

    2008-02-06 07:35:15.0

Nokia 7110! - because it was way ahead of its time with features like zillions of contacts, over 130 SMS capacity (even exceeds its successor 6310) and with its final software update, it was one of the fastest devices of its time. Navi roller and its springed slider form was innovative and cooles features that still I look for but can't find in today's mobiles.

    2008-02-07 00:33:08.0

best ever...in today standard i can name 3 that still holds its own.

    1) 6310i for speed and longest lasting battery performance.  (given if you dont need color, mms, cam,etc...simply for calls and text)

    2) 9500 for amazing heavy phonebook and sms handling...(sorry E90, you just fail badly in those arena!)

    3) N95 8gb for latest all in one features and capabilities that works really well...(now if only it had the n82 xenon flash hehe)

    2008-02-07 13:26:27.0

I just love my Nokia E50.

    2008-02-07 20:29:48.0

    Key features

    • Exceptional voice functions include quadband GSM for calling capability across different regions, high-quality speakerphone, and enhanced voice commands
    • Large memory storage with up to 70MB of built in memory and support for microSD card
    • Large, high-resolution display for easy viewing of Web pages, images, and documents
    • Fast data connections using EDGE (EGPRS)
    • 1.3 megapixel camera*
    • 2008-02-07 20:31:18.0

What I like most of all is i] it being a quadband I can use it anywhere; ii] it runs BlackBerry software in a pretty comparable fashion to my BlackBerry Pearl. So when the latter is lost or in the workshop, it proves to be the perfect back-up and when I travel it carries my local country SIM cards. It's also got a near-bullet proof casing which for a clumsy guy like me is a great bonus.

    2008-02-07 20:37:00.0

Having just tried the E51 i was blown away by it and it gets a great signal in my house on T-Mobile when other phones struggle.  Only shame was no video calling cause i really like doing that.

THe N95 8GB is a great phone also with some really good features but i think the N82 has to top my fave list.

    2008-02-08 15:28:57.0

N95-3 is the best! It's like a phone, computer, gps, camera, and more all rolled into a tiny and usable package. Long live Nseries handsets! Smile

    2008-02-08 15:57:35.0

    Like solidgoldmind, I have a N95 handset.

    It is amazingXP

    My N95 8GB.

    2008-02-09 04:58:05.0

    My N95-1 no doubt

    2008-02-10 09:00:47.0

N82 is the best phone I've ever owned. I've been through P800, P900, HTC's, and several other smartphones. Nothing holds a candle to the ease of use of the N82.

    2008-02-10 15:06:48.0

E61 for me.  Sure, its like holding up a toaster to your head because of its form factor - but you just cant beat the functionality for the price.  For me, having a QWERTY keyboard is a necessity - and the E61 is the first business device which is still a great phone.

    2008-02-10 18:10:26.0

E61 - Did I mention WIFI?  With Opera it is a very functional web browsing experience.  The only limitation is flash-lite and not being able to play youtube videos natively.

    2008-02-10 18:28:59.0

I remember my 5110. Very simple. Amazing how far they've come.

    2008-02-10 18:36:33.0

tough question... ive liked them all equally the same at the times ive had them;)

    2008-02-10 19:30:56.0

n95 of course, but i had one 6110 , which had battery for one week. Very nice ....

Realization of a Dream come True

Having grown up on the likes of the Nokia 6230, Nokia to me is a a very compact and feature loaded device, with a no-frills design. After making a dive in to Series 60 with the Nokia 6680, my first S60 device and then treading on that line with the N70, N80 & N73, i find it unimaginable to go back to Series 40/50. But i was not happy with S60 for two major reasons, the sluggish UI when compared to S40/50 and the comparitively bulkier size of the S60 phones. Nokia have always come up with a solution to my cravings and today i have an almost perfect device for me (sans a minor gripe, the missing WIFI). Ladies & Gentlemen my best ever Nokia "the 6120 classic".

    2008-02-10 23:26:23.0

Naturally my "best ever" Nokia handset is the latest one I own, the N95-1, though I can hardly forget how I loved my 8110 and 8810:)

    2008-02-11 00:06:35.0

The original N-gage, that thing never broke, no matter how hard it hit the groud or whatever and 3d tony hawk on my phone, brilliant.  It was the best playing multiplayer over bluetooth while in class....

    2008-02-11 03:19:38.0

Nokia 8800 Arte. May never see such a beauty again (apart from the Sapphire Arte next month);)

    2008-02-11 04:20:17.0

    nokia n73, i used n80, 6680 in s60 class. but i love the n73, now i am going to buy a n82

    2008-02-11 04:45:06.0

haha yeah the original ngage was tough! also, my good old 3310 at that time worked amazingly well! remember the Xpress-on covers??:) good memories.. the 3210 was in some ways better than the 3310, though i never had one..

as per most of us here, my best ever is the N95-1:)
