Thank you. One other thing I wonder is: Do one need the physical keyboard? Why not send a BT-keyboard in-package instead? I mean, usually you know if you are going to type a long letter and therefore you can bring the BT-keyboard, for all other occations you have the touchscreen QWERTY. I think that internal physical keyboard just takes up place and will make the phone bulkier. On the same line, whats the dimensions of N97?

Nice to be here also had some logon problems i like the N97 and it definitely  has my Interest but so far can't see anywhere where it says what processor it is using? I'm guessing an OMAP2 series chip and if so when will we eventually start to see OMAP3 chip's coming online in our devices with all the improvements they are meant to bring?

Nokia Account at present does not seem to work well. i have had issues with it. why cant we edit subscriptions inside the ovi page of our account.

@spiderman, Compass will work so that when I come out of London tube and walk 3blocks, I find out I'm walking in worng direction.  I needed something to solve this case.  Compass will let me face and walk in the right direction.  Compass and A-GPS combine makes this great experience

@nick09, N97 has risistive touch screen and there are capacitive touch screen.  Risitive touch screen is more flexible and robust than capacitive touch.  Resistive touch is also usable with nails or when wearing glove as well.

@spiderman, maps will rotate on the device so map is always north-up and when you turn maps turn.  It's like when you are walking that you rotate the paper map to have the map facing the right direction.

Many thanks for that information in which case i would imagine battery life will be exceptional even with a large 3.5" Touchscreen. Is the N97 starting to blur the lines between  E and N series devices as with a QWERTY it should be as good for Business as it is for Entertainment . Or we will not to far away see an E90 replacement with similar if not better spec's than the N97 although I'm not sure how much better it can get for now?

The service today is only configurable from certain S40 devices.We announced today that we will have a web interface for Mail on Ovi that will go live early next year. Once you have a Mail on Ovi account you'll be able to use Nokia Messaging or even the basic email client on your S60 device to check your mail. I'd recommend getting an Ovi identity from Ovi.com which will also become the basis for your Mail on Ovi email address. Thanks...

@spidey: Our IM service for both S40 and S60 devices is based on the technology we've just acquired from Oz only last month... There's lots of good stuff to come.

@Songita B Verma, Electronic compass will tuen the maps on the device screen, so you do not have to turn the map or the device.  Map being displayed will have North up.  That means that you turn the device and map being displayed turns.

Is that the Multimedia key at the bottom left corner,if so is it just the same old tabbed menu in the other NXX?

@ravindra; it is called Menu key and we have now integrated old two different menus to one and only menu including everyhting. pretty usable.

Will N-Gage require the hardware buttons for operation? I can't see myself playing N-Gage on a non-multitouch screen; it's practically impossible.

There was a certain line of difference in the quality of materials used on  E and N series in the past,E-series ones were always better than the N-series outfits,but the N97 is more like a Hybrid of these two series,so how about the materials used in this device?

we have allowed S60 developers to use the integrated GPS for applications already. For example there are geotagging applications by 3rd parties as well as applications developed by Nokia that add the geo loacation images. We are constantly looking for innovating new ways to enhance the user experience and not just add something for the sake of adding things. Check out our Beta Labs site for more examples.

I know it has A-GPS just like the N95 and N85 etc but my point is that the accuracy for navigation is still an issue when compared to garmin etc.
