Actually that's something of an argument in favour of something I've always thought would be a good feature - multi-forum topics.

That way you could post a topic to simultaneously live in your own forum, and a subject-specific one.

If you don't know what I'm on about.. I guess it's kinda like the difference between tags and folders - right now we have "folders" - each topic goes into one forum. Would be kinda cool to make it more like tags - each forum contains all the topics that have been tagged as belonging to them. That way you could have a discussion with 2 sets of people in apparently 2 different forums, but all be posting into the same topic.

Yeah, I've fantasized about that too, esp when I have to think really hard abt which forum to start the topic in

I would post stuff into my own forum, but it won't get so much of a viewing as if I post to somewhere where its on topic.

Only forum I have is the Rugby League Football forum, which I've been too busy to post on recently.  (must rectify that).

I also started Computer Hardware, which sees more traffic than the one with my name on the door.
