I got an award once for being the messiest eater in the world and I thought it was pretty funny. I realised later that they were trying to tell me something. Yup, I am a chronic messy eater. It doesn't help that I've got a short beard which acts like velcro to some foods.
Last week I went to the dentist then had lunch my brother. My eating was worse since half my mouth was numb. He started laughing and told me that rice and other clumps of food had been falling out of one side of my mouth.

Ending a sentence with a leading and.....
I often like to keep the conversation going by putting little things on the end of a sentence so I have the option to continue.
"We'll be leaving at 4pm soooooooo.........."
"I really enjoyed the movie buttttttttttttt..........."
"I wanted to get a drink anddddddddddd........"
It even frustrates me sometimes.
I even once said. "Sorry, I know I'm finishing everything I say with a segue buttt......................" We just laughed.

Browsing The Web While On The Phone
Sometimes when someone is telling me something on the phone, I start browsing the web.
I start saying
"A huh. Yup. Yip. OK."
And they often say... (or KC does..)
"Are you doing something else?"
I have to shut my laptop or turn off the monitor. I'm easily distracted.

Mobile Phone Ettiquette..when is it too long to reply to a text message?
I also have to say that you don't have to respond with an OK if it's not crucial. Like, "Hey guys, be there in about 10 mins". You don't have to say. "See you then". Save the 20c.
TExting and phone calls where expensive in Tanzania, so we had a policy that if you wanted to confirm you got the message, you'd ring and then hang up. That basically meant. YES or OK. It worked well but I haven't been able to get it to latch on here.

I hate it when you.. Finish your sentences? Yes...
I often finish peoples sentences. Maybe I'm impatient. Sometimes I just know the word they're searching for, which is ok I think as long as you allow a 1.8 second gap.
But I think sometimes it peeves people off.

I can be really short when finishing phone calls. I'm sure I get this from my Lithuanian grandmother who never 'chats' but I feel really conscious of it.
I just feel that if we're not chatting, but arranging something then once it's over, don't spend 30 seconds on formalities.
That's why I like the West Wing method where you don't even say byee, you just hang up.
