I just registered. Upen registering, it goes to the 'New user created' page.  That's cool, except it doesn't tell me what to do next. I assumed I'd have to wait for a verification link, but when I opened the mail, I realised I didn't. Maybe you could automatically sign the person in, or make the log in link more obvious.

    I felt a bit stranded

yeah i found that having the .exe and dmg files by default may have been a bit confusing...

perhaps as a general idea, a description for a (any) file could be shown in a panel in the bottom?  this wayyou can even probably add tags and so on?

hey awesome feedback - your right about that intermitant page that we show, we need a big 'next' button to take you to the login screen. as for the downloads folder, I think we need to create 'Mac' and 'Windows' sub-folders. One thing we can do, is that in our next release, files and folders will have a 'description' field, and in that field we could put some help text.

so we can put a bit of a tip in that description field. If you have any ideas please do let us know, we love hearing from users - you can never be 'wrong' with feedback. thanks a bunch guys, we will keep you posted with the next updated

also another thing regardign the windows client..

when i am copying files, there seems to be no way to either cancel the transfer or even logout (unless i pull out my network cable and so on)... would a progress dialog showing progress of the file transfer, similar to the windows explorer file transfer dialog, be on the way??

this would be very useful to cancel a transfer at anytime...

hey Sri, if you right-click inside Omnidrive, then go to 'Jobs' you will see each individual upload job and you will be able to cancel them. Also, in the status bar (which you might need to switch on, view->status bar) you will see a progress meter. let me know how u go

oops looks like part of my message got chopped off... (just noticed it)..

i meant "simply mimicking windows explorer's copy/move actions and showing a progress dialog would be immensly useful"...
