In the status and options window a time is shown followed by the word saved

What exactly is this and how is it calculated?

For every time we DONT show you an item, we increase the counter by a few seconds - so it shows you how much time Particls has saved you by not showing something you don't care about. It works even better if you have Particls only filtering your RSS feeds (i.e. if you turn off 'Automatically find information for me). 

We could factor other things as well - e.g the time it would take to go out and find that information for yourself. But if you have better suggestions for the type of stats we can put up there then I would love to hear it. I know you posted in the other topic about status - and we can do those - but the stats up the top there should be special/most interesting
