What do you think about the current Particls site? Should it be redone?

What do you think about this for an idea?

I actually really like the current site - one of the cleanest I've seen. I do like the eyeball though... Could you maybe blend the eyeball into the wraparound on the current site?

Actually though, if you want a hypothetical, I'd be looking at the fact that the futuristic font kind of sits a little askew with the friendly icons. I'm not sure that I'd redesign the entire site as much as I would maybe align it a little - bring up the icons a bit, maybe with a little glass or reflection...

Maybe tie the find out more section back into the navigation so you don't get lost. Clicking my way down the navigation I end up at find out more, and lose the navigation I've been happily plugging away at...

I like it though - big testimonials with nice typographers quotes, key words in a nice font in the lightest part of the screen...It's cool.

Yeah my main concern with the current site is that there is a sort of 'front page micro site' and then a deeper site with more content - which was actually by design

Yeah. The micro site rocks, but it's confusing when you suddenly fall out into the rest of the content. I notice you left Mashable off the major media coverage section of reviewer resources... Is this a dis?

I don't think the current site is broken....its simple but gives access to a lot of content.... I'm not a big fan of 'splash pages' devoid of content... I think your existing front page gives the content needed while the embryo/black hole doesn't  .... and the whiter than white is just too spartan...

Bri it's not really supposed to be a splash page - more like a clean directory of the main areas of the site.

Whiter than white - that's an interesting way of putting it

I guess I could have gone with a Whiter shade of Pale and put a tune to it!

I should have said "while II'm not a big fan of spash pages...." the clean directory is to my liking -- but you get that and some content on your existing site.... Both are good though.... and now I'm off to play my Procul Harum

Now I'm getting paranoid... I make the comment above... then all H breaks loose with 9.2172.0   ... I am impressed with how quick your guys worked it out... but I'm not going to toss you any real bouguets for a while , just in case there is some sort of causal effect... 

And with it going on for 2am here I think I'll call it a day.
