Darren can you provide more information please? Have you put in watch words and/or subscribed to sources?

hi. i have the same problem.

 i've updated from the previous version without sidebar to the current 2375 build. Feeds and  watch words still there. Not receiving any content. Sidebar, and ticker, stuck perpetually at "Waiting for content" Any ideas?

can you please go to start -> run -> %appdata%\particls

(let me know if this is not clear)

make sure particls is NOT running
and delete Cache.tdat

and re-start

cache.tdat not there... autofeedcache?

There shouldn't be an Autofeedcache

What is the folder you are in right now - the whole path

using vista btw...

 err... the whole path: C:\username\AppData\Local\Particls

Vista should't affect it - we all use vista as well

tmm tough on me then... is there some way to reinstall it and then i input the words again?

Uninstalling does not clear your cache or words just in case you want to re-install it - although I am begining to think it should

no not at all - I believe that you upgraded from a very old version

and there was a legacy problem

icic... anyhow... the cache.tdat file was found in roaming and not local... as in e folders... yup

heya... particls only downloads info from my feeds and not my watch word... taking a lil longer than usu...

is "automatically find information for me" turned on

yea it is... turned on... only getting feeds from particls and one of my other feeds.

yeah... i am but its always restricted to two sources. very strange... is there some scroll function or anything. it stranges... makes it seems like all my feeds centre around two sites.

I've had this behaviour before... I think it has to do with the sorting by relevance of the sidebar, even if you're in "Sort by date" (newest first) mode

And no, we're all waiting for a scroll bar in the sidebar but haven't seen it yet

so i've to delete it post...... by...... post.....?

I'll let the experts answer that... What I did when it happened to me was return to good old ticker for a while

haha... yea... but takes up a good proportion of my screen size... toggled it to relevance... now i've got multiple sources... but still tough to delete...

Another interesting thing we're waiting for is a button that would allow you to delete everything in the visible part of the sidebar, when you know you won't open any of it.
