What if we include the old skin as the 'Particls Classic' skin when we do the skin chooser:P

    2007-07-16 04:35:29.0

The thing is the old skin looks crap with the sidebar

    2007-07-16 04:35:56.0

Haha we can't include your own personal skin branded with your name as the default skin!

    2007-07-16 04:39:19.0

Well we could I guess... no one could stop us

    2007-07-16 04:40:43.0

Great to hear Dallas - That's one for, and one against

    2007-07-16 04:52:04.0

Although the fact that the current one looks green on some screens is not great hah

Yeah I don't know - you don't want to make the output device too prominent. They need to be as invisible as possible. The moving text will altery people when they need to be alterted - a dominating colour block on a users desktop will have them resent it.

Might want to check this out: http://metalinkltd.com/?p=91

Actually by making it dark/close to black I was hoping to have it NOT draw attention to itself and be as invisible as possible

    2007-07-16 05:01:45.0

Are you saying I failed :)

    2007-07-16 05:02:26.0

I dont know if we want it yellow with green text though Elias:P

I always try to get the backround of particls to match the standard XP background blue, and I replace the particls logo with the feed logo

    2007-07-16 05:46:52.0

That was another option - try to adopt current the windows colors for the user - but for Vista that doesn't work very well
