    Yesterday I was looking at Particls settings and was surprised to see that "Send most items to this adapter" was selected for the sidebar, which was not what I intended. So I changed it back to "Send only important items to this adapter".

    My APML file included this (although "Send only important items to this adapter" was selected for the sidebar):

    <OutputThresholds Key="particls.sidebar" NotUnder="0" NotOver="0" Enabled="Yes" />

    This seemed wrong... but new items seemed to arrive normally in the sidebar, so I let it running like that.

    Just a few minutes ago, I had to reboot and, not so surprisingly,  I saw the sidebar showing less and less content (items disappearing from the bottom).

    I checked again my apml file and I think the applications section may be corrupted: here's what it looks like now:

        <Applications>
          <Application Name="Particls">
            <OutputThresholds Key="newsticker" NotUnder="0,2" NotOver="1" Enabled="No" />
            <OutputThresholds Key="pop-up alerts" NotUnder="0,4" NotOver="1" Enabled="Yes" />
            <OutputThresholds Key="pebbles" NotUnder="0,4" NotOver="1" Enabled="No" />
            <OutputThresholds Key="touchstone.sidebar" Enabled="No" NotUnder="0,2" NotOver="1" />
            <OutputThresholds Key="particls.sidebar" NotUnder="-0,4" NotOver="1" Enabled="Yes" />
          </Application>
        </Applications>

    I have both the sidebar and ticker enabled now and both are waiting for content.

    I have changed the settings to "send all items to this adapter" (for both adapters) and they are still "waiting for content"

    I edited the APML file with NotUnder="0,2" for both adapters, reloaded, and got little action, so I deleted the cache.tdat file and now everything seems ok, although of course I've got now lots of old stuff occupying the sidebar.

    Thanks Francois - will look into it

    Say, how do you (if at all possible) export an APML file from your particls client? I can't seem to find that function.

    Right now it is a little harder than it should be - you can get your Particls APML file from %appdata%\particls there is a [username].apml file there

    Let me know if you are not sure how to get to that folder and I can walk you through it

    Got it. Great!

    Btw, I had my sidebar disabled for the last 2 hours, and newticker, pebbles, and popup alerts enabled, but haven't seen anything happening, despite that I'm pretty sure content should have gone in. The moment I enabled the sidebar it filled up with > 20 items.

    I'm testing on my end

    If you restart Particls the items should come into the Ticker fine I think Lawrence - let me know
