The news I receive in my ticker and/or sidebar are at least four hours old. Many of them I didn"t has the interest to read but they don't dissapeared. I look in the settings for some way to change it and make the news update more frequent but unsuccesfuly. Can someone teach me how to do it? I need fresh news, within the hour.

I think sliders are the answer (as I've mention in a previous post). A slider to set the maximum age of posts to be shown (with the option to disable this slider). That way people who are only interested in the new news can adjust accordingly.

I think that these sliders should be fairly near the surface of the app, not as deep as the "change settings and skins" so that you can change the sliders and see the results instantly.
 

This should sort itself out - also try subscribing to the news you like specificly by finding the RSS feeds from the sites
