I use Particls for few months now and its one of the most useful software on my pc

the problem is that its stop working, it is showing Waiting For Content and doesnt bring me any news.

I tried different solutions that was written in the forum but non helped.

I have enough words in my intrests,

"automatically find new information for me" is ticked

i tried to delete paritcls Cach data from "Users\AppData\Roaming" and "C:\Users\AppData\Local"

but nothing worked.

i think the problem is from the auto feed adaptor, cuz when i look at the "Display Event History" i see hundreds of lines of "Feed adaptor will try to subscribe to http://xxxxx.."

last time that particls stop working i installed a fresh copy of windows and the problem was solved, my guess is that there is another cache file in windows that i missed

any ideas how to solve the problem without reinstaing windows?

***i was able to fix the problem by opening a new user account in windows... not the perfect solution but it works.

Hi Fran - there is also a cache folder in %appdata%\particls

This is a known issue that we call zombie mode - and we can't quite track it down

We are working on version 2 now and you will love it

Mine went into zombie mode after restarting pc - i tried various things before hitting the forums here

while i was reading this page it started working all on its own!
