Hi
I have noticed since the install that as soon as I switch my comp on W32 folder opens on desktop. Is this a known issue or I have just discovered a bug. Any help would be appreciated.
Interesting..... I've been beating my head against the wall wondering what I've done to get the same effect... I wouldn't have thought of asking here.... but if there's smoke ... perhaps????
It looks like bug than. Did you get ridd of it and what did you do?
No as I said... i've been beating my head on where to look for the cause.... don't know that it is this app (it would still seem unlikley to me; and I've loaded about a half dozen local applications to my laptop in the same time frame as Particls and 3 or four other web apps so it could easily be something else... or more likely something I've done to myself).... but when two Particls users see it, it's worth noting here... lets see what the Particls guys say.... they are good at monitoring here and responding quickly
This started after install. I did not install anything else at the time so it must be Particls.
If you want to be sure its handled in the formal process though... always best to submit a bug report...you can link up through the 'open status and options window" in the control panel.
it is from Particls - and we have fixed it up and it will be released with the next version (next few days)_
Thanks Stephen... I was just about to comment that its past the end of business day in Aus so we probably wouldn't see a response till tomorrow... thanks for quick feedback
its ok - We never sleep
Cheers. So will you notify us of new release?
we monitor these group (using notifier) I was writing an email and noticed the message come up - sjameless plug for Tangler![]()
Yes I know that syndrome.... this is my outlet for winding down and getting my mind off my own pending launch at the end of the day.... past my bedtime...now 3:01am on the West coast of Canada
Yes - Chris will notify people in here, Particls will also notify you that there is a new version and did you want to download it
thanks for the Feedback
yeah. I dont want Particls to download the new version as if I screw up and need a reinstall I need to redownload it again. btw, where it saves it ?
I am not sure where it saves it - Ashley should be able to tell you that
how are you today TBD ?
playing a bit with GoogleReader API
maybe I will meet the google guys at GoogleDev Day in London
excellent how are you going with it ?
are you British ?
all reversing done, now I need to make a small proggie to get the data and pass it to Particls. logon is a bit difficutl
nope, .ro
it would be so much easier when everyone uses openid
we are looking at moving Peepel to openid
Hi guys - as Stephen said the bug has been fixed in the next version. Particls will notifiy you when there is a new version to download and you can choose to download it there. Also we will post release notes here for you as well!
Thanks for reporting the bug!

Hi Guys
Hi Guys (again)
I have tried to remove the Particls to see if the problem would go away. Unfortunately it is still there. I am not sure if I like that Particls drill this deep into system.
Also any idea when the update is due?
If you removed Particls - it should not leave anything like this in the system Sepo... If indeed it is caused by Particls the next build should fix it up once and for all
