that is tone of the big problems with online applications we are still reliant upon the stability of the browser
yea, it was probably the memory build up.. with loads of js loaded in memory..
yep - i tend to levae too many windwos open and sometime firefox gets up to 500 meg memory
especially running google analytics

Does firefox 2 save your text entered in js windows? Or other 'applets' rather than straight html? Because the 'don't loose what you were writing' thing in firefox 2 was one of it's most touted features. Hmm... it appears the spellcheck isn't working where I'm typing now, so I guess not.
The Text is stored in memory until you ask to save the file - this is then transferred to the server for more permanent storage.
the spell check does not work as you type, (as it would be too slow in Javascript) - you have to ask it to spell check your document for you.
