My Pineapple is in the garden. I'm not sure if it's growing or not, but I still water it

My neighbour planted it ages ago.... maybe 3-4 years now.... Not sure what's going on down there underground

you know - i only found out about a year ago how pineapples grow - never thought about it before then. I was rather surprised - i seemed to have an image that they grew in trees like coconuts not like some type of bromeliad. You learn something everyday (i don't live in the tropics so never came across them "growing" - - - except that time in the fridge, but i don't really think you could count that as growing, more growing something)

Reminds me of myself

I once overslept, and the instructor was beeping his horn at my doorstep. So I told my sis to tell him that I had called the day before to cancel the lesson, and that I wasn't at home. He didn't believe her and was pretty furious.

It was my last lesson. I switched to learning auto, cos that had a different instructor, who I freaked out by speeding on the first lesson

2-3 years after getting my auto license, I hired a manual car and taught myself to drive it, with some help from a friend.
