Ever watch 'The People Bomb'?
Gahh, so scary... and cruel... and sad to see how everyone is treated so different in different countries...
It isn't so different in America as it is in most of the Western European countries, but in other places everything seems so harsh...
okay.....where is the link?
i have no idea what you are referring to .....and i'd like to.
**no sarcasm here**
Wow, I was searching for a link for most of those 42 minutes, and I can't find a link...
It was a CNN special report documentary...
(more details while compiling)

that sucks when you can't find what you want or need to find on the internet.
**again......no sarcasm here**

A disturbing wake up call,

The People Bomb is a set of 10-15 minutes CNN news reports about several dimensions of the global demographic explosion, mostly in the Third World (notably India). It provides very powerful images depicting basic but fundamental problems. Even if it was broadcasted in 1992, the problems discussed are even more acute today and of high relevance. For instance, the global population reached 6 billion in 1999 (5.4 billion in 1992: Who is overpopulated?) and the issue of the missing female population (Son Mania) has now reached 100 million, most of them in China and India, according to some sources. It is an excellent video to be presented in classes covering population and development issues. I would however recommend it to a more mature audience because of the sensitivity of some scenes: e.g. abortions and infant deaths. Particularly effective for a bored, materialistic, selfish and careless student audience that plagues most colleges and universities today. It is very graphic, however. You see dead babies ![]()

Synth, honestly.... do you really think that we are actually capable of doing a google search ourselves? No way man, we're far too lazy for that!
What exactly is the issue they're discussing? Doesn't sound like anything we (I?) don't already know?
Well it discusses the population and discrimination errs with several different countries through the people who experience it. I had no clue that it was that sexist in India/ Burma/ Mexico, etc...
Oh okay... that would be suprising then, for sure
hey synth.....i'm very happy that you started a topic here.......really, i'm not being sarcastic...
but.....um......maybe next time you could find something a little happier.....![]()
In better news...
MY name is Michael J. Caboose, and I HATE BABIES!!!!!
I hate to ask... who the hell is that?!
From Red vs. Blue (A machinima about Halo). It's hilarious.
[
Michael J. Caboose is a private in the Blue army who fights against the Reds... he appears to be retarted on many levels (including fireproof!
)
]
That's not his best line though.... *searches*
Funniest one eva:
(Figuring out why a prophesy stated that a sword is a key)
Church - "Maybe it's a sword all the time, and a key in certain situations."
Caboose - "Or, maybe it's a key all the time, and when you stick it in people, it unlocks their death."
hahahaha
Is it available on YouTube? I quite like machinima, esp if they're funny
Yes, it is. You can also search for whole seasons that people have compiled together on *shudders* Google Video -- Each season is about 1-2 hours long
