What do the Aussies think about an independent Scotland?

I think you ight find that aussies probably think Scotland is already an independent country.  They think Ireland is at war with England anyway, they call Scottish people "Scotch" (ouch), and you can be sure that if Scotland wants to give England a Glasgow kiss then John Howard might just send some troops over to support the Mother Country in the new frontier in the War on Terror.

By the way, Sydney Morning Herald recently described Munster as a small town of no consequence in Ireland.
