Did they, for example, have it in lower case when they started out, then change it to caps when they "became big"?

Haha, very cool information, but no not correct.  Capitalization of "the rolling stones" is not important. In fact any capitals or not through the list are not important. Jokingly i've made sure to subtly include the answer in all of my posts in this thread - apart from the initial post of course!!

OK the only letters in the alphabet that are not present in the list are f, j, k, x which change to f,F   j,J   k,K,   x,X. i guess you could debate F is the only one that changes shape when it becomes big..

The answer i Had intended was "J"       the little "j" has a dot and generally not much of a hook. The larger J should be crossed at the top. Therefore the shape is quite different.    I felt that "F" remains similar.. But thats probably personal opinion.

The artists are all artists that have HEADLINED Slane castle, there are only 4 letters missing from the list.  The actual bands have no more meaning other than to confuse.
