Today, rather than a "clue" I will clarify what you have and what you need.

2010 (the current year)  is also represented by a letter using the same system. What is this letter? Take one of those from Allan, where Allan represents August, the names are the months of the year.

First step is to find the letter system for labeling the years. Once you have this the remaining riddle is very basic.

If 2012 = Ag, does 20 = A and 12 = g?

And is the capitalisation significant?

The answer is a number, I don't want to give too many clues because you're soo very close that i want you to get there by yourself. It will feel better that way!   The answer isn't 3, 9 or 1.   You need to give reasons now rather than just guessing numbers.

If you are struggling to understand what the "complete set" is then maybe you are a little bit further off track than I thought.... Hmmm... I want to give you clues, but i still want it to be hard so you feel like you've acheived when you get the answer. When you get the answer you should know that it's right. It isn't perfect, but quite elegant.

No, I think I know the complete set - that was just an off-question, by any chqnce I had messed up somehow.

I took all my working out beofre, because I knew Sir M would see it and snipe me by doing the rest. I know I am close, but I want it all to myself!!

And I'm not just randomly guessing numbers!! There was perfectly logical reasoning behind each attempt!! (I even spent most of yesterday afternoon working it out!) 

I'd also just like to point out that I thought this riddle was too hard for me and therefore have ignored it up until you told me google would help. I'd even completely missed that the names related to months! (I thought I was so clever when I worked that out yesterday lol!) - so for me to come all this way, I feel pretty accomplished already lol!!

Take a particular "C" out of Allan.... If you know what "C" means then it should make more sense. C is in Allan. Then use google to work out what it's fighting on the "F"th day...

I know what "C" means, but I can't work out the "F" - thats the only part of this that I'm missing!
