We're looking for an open source rails app for bug tracking and issues management.  Anyone find something open source that works well for them?  I'm going to install and try out redMine today....

You may want to check out Retrospectiva, although I've never used it myself. I know you said you wanted Rails app, but what's about Trac that you don't like? I use it with my team and it really kicks ass.

redMine is installed and working and it's really incredible.  a great free opens source rails bug tracking, preoject management and issues tracking system.  it even has version control integrated into the web interfece.  hat's off to those guys!  it has email notifications and most of the features you'd expect in more expensive paid for solutions.

I think u can go with  Vanilla  its  in  php  and  quite  easy  to install .  Vanilla is like forum  but u can use  as your  way.
