A bad few days for the Frogs in the Rugby Union world..
As well as being beaten 56-8 by England in Toulouse, they were beaten 34-13 by Aust in Sydney last night.
The Sydney game would have resulted in an even bigger hiding for the Frogs, if the Australians had played anything like they should have in the first half.
In what was a very scrappy game, the French showed little understanding of the rules of the game, and were consistently penalised for entering the ruck from the side.
It was as The Courier Mail put it, "a Walk in le Park".
Yeah, I watched the first half, but then I got bored. Just couldn't keep watching
The France vs England match at Toulouse was was Rugby League, not Union. Still, a win against the Frogs is a win to be enjoyed... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_league/7469021.stm
ahhhh..... thanks for clearing that up
For a while there I thought France had a B Union team

They do, we played them the other night..

Sorry bout that Arthur, I was so excited about our rah-rah boys that I posted about the league game in the wrong forum..
LOL! You're terrible Andro!
@Andro. No apology required. I caught the first part of the match on TV when the score was 8-20 something. I didn't watch the match or seek the result because I'm not really into RL. However as I said previously, any win against the Frogs is to be enjoyed. In fact, going really off topic I heard on the wireless this morning that a chap called Murray beat some Froggie in Wimbledon.
Damn! Gasquet lost?
Oh well....
I believe that my (Scottish) namesake played some brilliant tennis to achieve it.![]()
Yeah I was watching it this evening... Too bad for Gasquet. He almost had the match, but Murray did really well to win that 3rd set
Don't know what happened after that as Ch 9 didn't show it![]()
I really hate it when Ch 9 starts showing a match and you get interested in it, and then they change over to something else..![]()
I know!!!
They're so ADD.
Their coverage has had no continuity this year...
Well, except for the Hewitt matches...
Continuing on the "Aust V Froggies" theme from last week, when The Wallabies triumphed over the Frogs 34-13 in Sydney, I have to report that last night here in Brisbane the Wallabies gave the Frogs another thumping, to the tune of 40-10.
This score is apparantly the greatest winning points margin in the Aust-France 38 test match history.
Le frogs were like a soggy croissant at the end of the game.
Yeah, I didn't even bother watching it after the 1st 10 mins or so
Sending ...
