Book 2, Take 2 **Spoiler Warning**
If people weren't willing to go on suicide missions, the world would have been destroyed long ago. How do you know Dove isn't dying from some horrible lung disease and she wants to atone by going on said mission? Maybe Fell is actually a genetically perfect specimen who has been bred to fight. Wisteria obviously went on the mission because her code demanded it.

Rakham's sword was destroyed in the explosion of magics. Kinda hard to steal something that's been blowed all to hell.

I have a question regarding the Lift Rune specifically. Does the altered weight affect an objects real physics as well? Example: In book 1, Averi uses the Rune to make Torrent's sword practically weightless. Let's say a Warrior uses this Rune on his giant battle axe. He can now swing it more easily, but will it have the same impact? The weapon's weight could mean the difference between severing a limb and barely scratching the skin.
