the opposite of Cold is "Hot". I am pretty sure the Fire/Water thing comes from the idea that they don't care for each other and work at cross purposes most of the time. (unless of course you are trying to make Tea) similar to the four elements where the opposite of Air is in fact Earth. there is also a 5 element paradign where you throw in either Metal, Wood, or Spirit depending upon which paradign/religion you are using. though Metal and Wood makes the concept of true opposites hard to deal with though it well suports elements that do and do not agree and what exactly happens when you mix two elements that don't agree (you get the element between them) though obviously as I have pointed out there are several methodogies and no specific reference to EXACTLY which one is being used in the world of Eastridge. and in fact some slight suggestion that All might be used by diferent people/countries/regions etc. (wrap your brain around THAT one)

so how does one determine the frequency of questions when only the truely brave ask them? This way. My Intent: It is not the intent that these questions be answered immediately, nor infact with any amount of urgency. If you have a question that you would like a timely answer a direct email may be best. This is meant to be a device to collect in one place all things that might be included in the next FAQ whenever that happens. For the purposes of keeping this neat and organized, I would ask that all persons who are question originators look for "I have that question too" and keep the tallies next to their questions so we do in fact know the "frequency" without having to troll the thread, I am going to do it with a list of names, but a number should work just as well One last thing, like FAQs please read Q before posting a question.

Arc writing: Sea Voyage from Kaitano, Rawen to West Fortress, Easden
Tonno Hybrid 1 Now I know there are alot of "rules" but it is my goal to provide a more formal method so we can begin to work with different methods and experiment to find what works best... please note this is not the final form as flaws are discovered, we can revise the method to make it better. All scenes should start with a scene header. this is mostly to make sure that everyone starts on the same page. the header shall containg some information about the scene, Arc: Name of the Arc the Scene belongs to The Process: From the Arc Preplanning most of the scene information should be decided. Scene Lead shall post header. Scene lead shall post also the opening scene though Lead may delegate if it is felt that another character could better open. Scene shall progress in a spontaneous fashion. Scene Lead shall try to avoid interfering keep the scene "on topic". there will be a command language of sorts. if this method gains popularity it will be formalized but lets keep it basic to start. I would recommend the ::interupt @ line command be used whenever something happens that would cause a reaction that might result in the previous post ending differently... once Scene Lead closes the scene they will look at everything posted and rewrite the WHOLE THING for consistent feel and style. They should stay as true to what is provided as possible. Scene Lead will the post and moderate a discussion on the following points. Character consistency and Canon consistency. Where character consistency is things that there is just no way it would go that way or a method of better presenation. I don't think I have to explain Canon consistency. Once everyone is agreed above THEN we start proofing for grammar and spell check. passing that Lead presents the clean version for final approval before "locking" the scene.
Scene Number:NAME : A name for the scene so we don't have to refer to it by number in casual conversation.
Characters: A list of all characters contributing.
Setting: to prevent wander syndrone... stuff that goes too far away should be either Side Scene or a petition made to alter the Arc Plot for a new scene. This helps keep the story from getting run on.
Scene Lead: the "head writer" each scene with have one Lead who is the judge and arbitrator for the scene, usually(but not always) this person who suggested the scene in the Arc Preplanning stage. Scene Lead will make sure that stuff stays on track and call for change style to more planned or more spontaneous. they will also call for and moderate discussions.
Start Conditions: All the important information leading up to the scene being written, ideally these are detailed enough that scenes can be written out of order and still flow well. Most importantly it can identify when a rewrite to an earlier scene would force a rewrite to this one.
End Conditions: Conditions that must be met before the Scene Lead can close the scene. Scene Lead should try to close the scene as soon after End Conditons are met to prevent Run on.

I imagine that is rather the intent of embedding the rune upon your body. also we already know a person can have multiple as it was a big deal that the first years could apply for their "first rune" as opposed to "have a rune" we can further conclude, though this being slightly shakier, that it is indeed to make use of multiple embedded runes at time. (we know for a fact that you can combine "signed" runes) this was indeed a prominent point in Averi's argument to be allowed the "earth rune" as it would later be useful as a ground for strength in her further casting and also it would mesh well with future runes she may request. Also based on the FAQs I would say that while you could definitely use blast and lightning to unleash a very quick series of explosive electricity. However, you better be very sure that it is going to finish your opponent because you will most assuredly be unconsious shortly after.
